BMI View: The agreement between Moldova and Romania over the construction of a new gas interconnector is not only a good political and economic development in the two countries' relationship but will have a positive impact on Moldovan energy security. The construction plan supports our view that the development of gas interconnectors within Europe is vital in achieving security of supply.
