Supply Problems May Limit BP's Indonesian Investment Plan
September 2011 | Industry NewsBP hopes to expand the flagship Tangguh liquified natural gas (LNG) project in order to take advantage of booming regional demand for gas. Although BP is willing to invest substantially in the project, serious doubts remain over the supply of gas to the facility. This may limit the optimistic expansion plans outlined by regulator BP Migas and may see Indonesia's regional market share contract.
