Déjà Vu At Aldous As Resource Estimate Grows Again

Statoil's second revision of its contingent resource estimate at the giant Aldous discovery suggests that the prospect may hold as much as 1.5bn boe. This implies that recoverable oil from the combined Aldous/Alvadsnes play may be towards the upper end of Lundin Petroleum's estimate of 1.2-2.6bn bbl.
