LNG Exports Targeted At Asia And Latin America As US Margins Shrink

BMI View: The announcement that Angola LNG is on schedule to deliver its first volumes of gas in 2012 proves that the backers of this project remain confident that it can thrive, despite the supply glut in the US - the country at which exports were initially aimed. We believe that Angolan gas will likely be exported to Asia - possibly India, Japan and Korea - and to Latin America, with Brazil in Angola's sights.
