TNK-BP is unlikely to enter into a bidding war with PetroVietnam over ConocoPhillips' Vietnamese assets. The Anglo-Russian joint venture is much more likely to be focused on acquiring new acreage and continuing with the development of its Block 06-1 assets, which it acquired from BP in October 2010.
