Petrobras Set To Expand Subsalt Output After Declaring Guara Field Commercially Viable

A declaration of commerciality at the Petrobras-operated Guara field has been issued to Brazil's National Petroleum Agency (ANP). The prospect illustrates the enormous reserves and production potential of Brazil's subsalt acreage and could help lift Santos Basin subsalt output to as much as 550,000b/d by 2015.
