Statoil Makes Second Barents Find

The Havis discovery is the latest to highlight the prospectivity of Norway's offshore frontier. The find is likely to encourage further appraisal of PL532 and other Barents Sea licences. It could also make development of the licence more profitable for Statoil and its partners, given the high cost of projects in harsh environments located far from existing infrastructure.
