Year Of Consolidation Kicks Off In Iraqi Kurdistan As Genel Talks Up Tawke

UK-listed independent Genel Energy, formed in 2011 by the 'reverse-takeover' of Turkish-based Iraqi Kurdistan explorer Genel Enerji by Vallares, has started 2012 on an optimistic note, asserting that its oil production capacity at the Tawke field will rise from 60,000 barrels per day (b/d) currently to 100,000b/d by the end of the year.
