EIA Report Highlights The Domestic Cost Of LNG Exports

The EIA report into the market effects of exporting natural gas is likely to have a strong influence on the debate over potential LNG exports. It highlights the fact that domestic well-head prices could rise dramatically if large volumes of gas are exported. This confirms our core view that FERC -the body responsible for the final approval of exports- is very unlikely to grant any export permits in the near future.
