Malaysia's bid to accelerate deepwater exploration is starting to bear fruit, with the county registering its second significant discovery offshore Sabah province in a matter of months. The find will provide further feedstock for an FLNG development which is set to come onstream by 2014. This could help boost LNG export volumes - helping Malaysia to benefit from strong regional demand for the fuel.
