Brent Strength Boosts Ecopetrol's 2011 Results

Colombia's national oil company Ecopetrol has posted strong financial and operational results for 2011, reporting a 90% year-on-year (y-o-y) jump in its consolidated net income to COP15.45trn (US$8.65bn) on revenues of COP65.7trn (US$37.8bn).
