LNG Infrastructure Making Progress
June 2012 | Project NewsBMI View: News that TransCanada has been awarded a US$4bn contract to build a natural gas pipeline by Shell and its partners, connecting to their planned LNG Canada project on the British Columbia coast, implies well placed confidence that their new LNG terminal will be approved. The pipeline will be a key test for the government's new regulations on project approvals, which are hoped to unblock a regulatory obstacle which has weighed on new project development, a trend which has been reflected in our poor outlook for oil & gas pipelines infrastructure industry value in 2012.
