Spoiled For Choice
April 2006 | Company News AlertInvestors in the Russian oil and gas sector have been faced with limited options over the past few years. The original favourite, Yukos, imploded in a spectacular fashion. More international institutions were overweight Yukos than any other Russian oil stock prior to the enforced dismemberment of the company. Sibneft, another popular choice among western fund managers, was originally about to become part of Yukos and ultimately disappeared into the jaws of Gazprom.
