Proposed Pipeline Beneficial To All
March 2006 | Project NewsThe presidents of Venezuela, Brazil and Argentina are due to meet next week to discuss a proposed 8,000km pipeline from Caracas to Buenos Aires, potentially reaching a concrete agreement on the much-talked about project. With the larger economies of Brazil and Argentina demanding increasing amounts of hydrocarbons and struggling to fulfil these needs internally, the more export-orientated nations such as Venezuela and Bolivia are pushing for huge levels of investment in a continent-wide pipeline network.
