Optimism From The Upstream
July 2006 | Company News AlertChinese state-controlled energy group Sinopec saw crude oil output rise marginally by 3.07% and gas production jump by 20.42% in H106 as it continues international expansion efforts in the upstream. The downstream was a more mixed bag. The group raised crude oil refining volumes by 5%, although output of gasoline and kerosene dropped. The increased volumes helped to push up sales of oil products by just under 7%.
