BP Reeling From More Accusations In The US

UK oil major BP's US operations are under fire once again as employees working on the Alaskan North Slope told the media of 50 wells that had leaked an insulating agent into the surrounding habitat. The company has reacted by closing 12 producing wells in the region, shutting in some 8,000 barrels per day (b/d) of output, and launching a government-supervised investigation into the allegations.
