Italy Warns of European Gas Price Risk
August 2006 | Industry NewsThere was a stark warning yesterday from major gas consumer Italy that European customers could pay more for natural gas as a result of a deal between Russian and Algerian state-controlled gas groups. The European Union plans to watch carefully the outcome of an agreement between Russia's Gazprom and Algeria's Sonatrach that could see the two leading European gas suppliers
