GAIL Of India Details Myanmar Gas Find

In June this year Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC), Indian state gas utility Gas Authority of India (GAIL) and South Korea's Daewoo International announced the discovery of a huge gas field in Block A-3, offshore Myanmar. The field is located adjacent to Block A-1, where an estimated 113-170bn cubic metres (bcm) of gas reserves had been found at the Shwe and Shwe Phyu fields.
