Although the market price of natural gas has fallen dramatically in the past few months, concerns still linger over future security of supply. Western European government's want to avoid the energy supply crunch encountered last winter when surging demand met with inadequate supply. While fears of another difficult winter this year are, in BMI's view, unfounded, the larger European economies will do well to continuing planning for their future security of energy supply.
