MOL INA Gas Partnership
September 2006 | Industry NewsCroatian oil group Industrija Nafte (INA) and strategic partner Hungarian energy group MOL have launched a joint exploration project designed to secure new volumes of natural gas. The exploration area, Podravska Slatina (Cro) - Zalata (Hu), covers some 50sq km and is spread across both Croatian and Hungarian territory. It has not been previously explored extensively due to its location and technical difficulties, but preliminary results based on 2D seismic mapping look promising, according to INA's exploration & production director.
