Record Azeri Production
September 2006 | Industry NewsAzerbaijan will produce a record 600,000 barrels per day (b/d) of oil in 2006, a 35% increase on last year, according to Rovnag Abdullaev, the chief executive of state oil producer SOCAR. He added that output should rise to 944,000b/d in 2007 and 1.3mn b/d by 2010. The forecast for next year is above BMI's estimation of 750,000b/d, but our production outlook for 2010 concurs with Abdullaev's
