Floating LNG Terminal For Pakistan

A floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal is to be set up at Port Qasim, Pakistan's second busiest port, at a cost of US$340mn. Associated Group, a diversified Pakistani energy company, has been issued a 'no-objection certificate' (NOC) by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources for the import of LNG, along with the setting up of a floating LNG terminal and re-gasification facility at Port Qasim.
