Japan Loses Stake In Iran's Azadegan Field
October 2006 | Contract NewsJapanese oil company Inpex is to lose almost all its stake in a project to develop the largest onshore field in Iran, according to Iranian Oil Minister Kazem Vaziri-Hameneh. This development, at a time when Iran is facing continuing pressure from the US over its nuclear programme, may be a sign of things to come.
