New Investment In Peru Gas Pipeline

Transportadora de Gas del Peru (TGP), the consortium which holds the concession to transport gas from the key Camisea field, has announced a further US$85mn investment in 2007 as it seeks to maintain the integrity of its infrastructure and prepare for greater flows. The project is vital to Peru's long term energy strategy as it prepares to become a major gas exporter.
