Total Buys Into Australia's Browse Basin
February 2007 | Contract NewsFrench oil major Total has struck a deal with US firm Apache Corporation to purchase an 80% stake in the offshore AC/P37 concession in Australia's Browse Basin. The licence, which covers an area of 4,415sq km, is situated around 200km off the north-western coast of the country in depths of around 200 metres.
