Cambodia expects to begin tapping its newly found offshore oil reserves by 2010, providing the impoverished South East Asian country with a much needed boost to government revenue. However, there have been serious concerns raised over how beneficial the presence of oil will actually prove to be, given the high levels of corruption that are incumbent throughout the country.
