Asian States Look To Expand Oil Storage
May 2007 | Industry NewsSouth Korea and Japan have used the second Ministerial Energy Roundtable in Saudi Arabia to propose that Middle Eastern oil producers build up crude and refined product joint stockpiles in their states. South Korea's pitch has met with success, but, with the benefits of the deal weighted in favour of consumer nations, there may be limits to the scope of future deals.
