Serbia Seeks To Be Balkan Energy Hub

Serbia is aiming to attract investment of EUR3bn (US$4.06bn) into its energy sector between now and 2011, according to the country's new Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica. At a presentation of his coalition government's new programme, Kostunica has said that large scale energy projects are a key priority for Serbia, as the country aims to position itself as an energy hub for the Balkans.
