Anadarko Sells Qatar Operations To Occidental

US independent Anadarko has announced that it will sell the majority of its Qatar operations to Occidental Petroleum in a deal valued at US$350mn. The move appears to be part of its corporate repositioning following its acquisition of Kerr McGee and Western Gas Resources in 2006.
