Giant Oil Field Discovery Off Kamchatka
May 2007 | Industry NewsA South Korean consortium has announced the discovery of a giant oil field off Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula. The consortium, led by by Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) and also including GS Caltex Corporation, Daewoo International, Hyundai and Kumho Petrochemical, has a 40% stake in the project, with Russian state-owned Rosneft holding the remaining
