Chile Inks LNG Supply And Construction Deals

Britain's BG Group has agreed a deal with Chile for the supply of 2.34bn cubic metres (bcm) per annum of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for the next 21 years. Under the terms of the deal, BG will provide the gas to a new terminal at Quintero Bay, 110km north-west of Santiago, where the LNG will be sent for regasification.
