Qatar To Supply LNG To Italy

Qatar has announced that it will export 6.6bn cubic metres (bcm) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per annum to Italy by 2008. LNG currently represents a small portion of Italy's total gas imports and the country only has one LNG receiving terminal.
