EU Gas And Electricity Markets Formally Liberalised

From July 1, 2007, the European Union (EU) electricity and gas market is to be fully liberalised. In 2004, EU rules liberalised the gas and electricity markets for businesses, with households and other customers having to wait until now to choose their energy supplier.
