Alaska Gas Pipeline Seeks Bidders
July 2007 | Industry NewsAlaska has opened the bidding process for the construction of the long-awaited North Slope natural gas pipeline project. The governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, released the state's formal Request for Applications on 3 July, detailing the requirements that any licensed project should comply with and the financial incentives available to the successful bidder. Bids are due by October 1, and the administration aims to submit its preferred proposal for legislative approval in 2008.
