Pakistan Puts Four More Licences On Offer
June 2007 | Industry NewsPakistan has invited international and domestic oil companies to bid for four oil and gas exploration offshore licences. The blocks are located in Zone O in the Arabian Sea and comprise Indus North, Indus X, Indus Y and Indus Z. Companies are invited to make bids until July 14. Pakistan has undertaken several bidding rounds in an effort to attract investment and increase exploration. In February the country put 17 blocks on auction, which are likely to be awarded in the near future.
