Pemex And BP Sign Technology Sharing Agreements
July 2007 | Contract NewsMexico's state-controlled Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) and the UK's BP signed three technology sharing agreements on July 24. Under the five-year agreements, BP will share its deep-sea drilling expertise and the two companies will study the potential of using an air-injection technique to extract additional volumes of crude from Mexico's oilfields.
