More Kazakh Contract Talks On The Cards

In the wake of pressure from President Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Kazakhstan oil authorities may terminate existing oil and mining contracts with foreign and domestic companies, replacing them with arrangements that favour the government. Renegotiation of the Kashagan field terms with Italy's Eni may simply be the first of many revised deals.
