Sibir Threatened By Russia's Environment Agency
February 2008 | Company News AlertRussia's environmental watchdog has recommended revoking production rights for a unit of London-listed upstream independent Sibir Energy, citing serious violations. The exploration and production (E&P) company's Magna unit is said to have broken ecological laws and the terms of its licence, according to Russian agency Rosprirodnadzor in an emailed statement.
