Petronet Seeks Higher Gorgon LNG Volumes

Indian liquefied natural gas (LNG) importer Petronet LNG is holding discussions with US major ExxonMobil over raising its agreed LNG supply volumes from the Gorgon project in Australia. Depending on whether the two sides can settle on a price, a sale and purchase agreement (SPA) could be signed during Q308, with gas supplies set to begin from mid-2013.
