Massive Discovery Claimed Off Aceh

A potentially massive new subsea deposit of hydrocarbons has been identified off the western coast of Aceh in Indonesia, according to two research agencies quoted by the Jakarta Post. There is as yet no indication as to whether or how much of the resources will be recoverable, however, and scepticism is warranted until further evaluation is carried out on the basin.
