IOCs Line Up For Bahrain Upgrade Deal
November 2007 | Industry NewsFollowing a disappointing response to its recent offshore licensing round, Bahrain has been pleased by the strong international interest in participating in a major overhaul of its oil and gas production facilities. Bahrain is hoping to attract foreign companies to bring in new technology and expertise in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) in order to boost output from the mature Bahrain field and to identify new reserves.
