Eni's Kashagan Reserves Fall By 76mn Barrels

As well as the financial cost of its renegotiated Kashagan oil deal in Kazakhstan, Italy's Eni group has reduced its proven reserves estimate for the project from 596mn barrels (bbl) to 520mn bbl, representing a 13% downgrade. When its stake in the project is downsized following the government agreement, a further revision can be expected.
