Work Starts On Gulf LNG Import Terminal
February 2008 | Project NewsBuilding work has started on Gulf LNG, a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal on the US Gulf coast. The US$450mn regasification facility, located at Pascagoula, Mississippi, on the Bayou Casotte Ship Channel will receive LNG from a new plant being constructed in Angola. The receiving terminal will have capacity to process 15.5bn cubic metres (bcm) of gas per annum and has a targeted completion date of 2011.
