Bapco's Offshore Hopes Rest On PTTEP And Oxy
February 2008 | Contract NewsOn February 25, Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) will award an exploration and production sharing agreement (EPSA) to Thailand's PTT Exploration & Production (PTTEP) for offshore block 2. Great expectations rest on the upcoming offshore exploration programme, which Bahrain is hoping will usher in a new era of upstream success and growing investment. BMI does not share Bahrain's optimism.
