Tengiz Output Boost For 2008
February 2008 | Project NewsTengizChevrOil (TCO), the consortium developing the giant Tengiz field in Kazakhstan, has announced plans to boost output substantially in 2008 as new production facilities come onstream. According to a TCO spokesman, the project will have the capacity to produce 540,000 barrels per day (b/d) by mid-2008, and there is a target to produce 18mn tonnes of oil this year.
