Marathon Launches Massive Seismic Survey

US integrated oil company Marathon Oil has embarked on a massive seismic data acquisition programme offshore Indonesia. Having abandoned the country 10 years ago, Marathon has returned with a bang, engaging the Wavefield Geowave Champion 3D seismic vessel to carry out the largest seismic survey in Marathon's and Indonesia's history.
