ONGC Struggles To Lift Indian Output

In a clear demonstration of the challenges facing India's upstream oil and gas sector, state-controlled exploration and production (E&P) group Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has warned that production from domestic fields will be virtually flat in the year ending March 31 2008. Gains in the 2008/2009 financial year will also be very modest.
