Gazprom Seeks Access To North African Gas
April 2008 | Industry NewsGazprom, the state-owned Russian gas group, in partnership with Eni, the Italian oil and gas major, is looking to secure energy assets in North Africa, probably in Libya. The move can be seen as an attempt by Gazprom to further tighten its hold on European gas markets.
