Anglo-Dutch major Royal Dutch Shell and Saudi Arabian state-owned oil company Saudi Aramco have increased their stakes in the South Rub al-Khali (SRAK) gas project in Saudi Arabia's Empty Quarter following French major Total's decision to withdraw from the joint venture (JV) in mid-February 2008.
