Output Flat But Profits Rise At Shell In Q208

Royal Dutch Shell has reported a 33% year-on-year (y-o-y) increase in net income on the back of record crude oil and higher natural gas prices. The results failed to exceed analysts' expectations and some questioned Shell's decision to exclude US$750mn in non-cash charges from the underlying result.
